Theresa

Theresa has spent nearly 30 years in veterinary medicine and is the co-founder and Practice Manager of Pet Surgery Center of Fort Lauderdale. With a career rooted in patient care and a deep understanding of specialty veterinary medicine, she has helped shape the practice into one that prioritizes exceptional surgical care, compassion, and an outstanding client experience.

As Practice Manager, Theresa oversees the day-to-day operations of the hospital, supporting both the medical team and the families who entrust their pets to Pet Surgery Center. Her background as a veterinary technician gives her a unique perspective on every aspect of the patient journey, while her leadership helps ensure the hospital runs smoothly and every pet receives attentive, personalized care.

Theresa is known for her thoughtful leadership, genuine compassion, and commitment to creating a welcoming environment for clients, patients, and the team alike. She believes that exceptional veterinary care begins with trust, communication, and treating every pet as if they were her own.

Outside of work, Theresa enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their rescue family, which includes pigs, a cat, multiple chihuahuas and a tortoise who uses the doggie door to come into the house.
